 In their official PlayStation Blog, Sony announced a batch of new features for their Folding@Home (FAH) client, including auto-shutdown and a background music player. (via Sony PlayStation.Blog)
 Bust open your digital stockings, boys and girls, because the Activision Elves are bringing you some Christmas joy a little bit early this year: new downloadable tracks for Guitar Hero III.
 Rumors have been swirling around for years as to whether or not a Ghostbusters game would ever make it to market (no disrepsect to the old-skool Commodore 64 version of the game - what we meant was "modern market"). We've seen so-called "in game" footage before, but this one looks like the real deal. Who we gonna call? Our local game store to pre-order this bad boy.
 A German PC game hardware website has finally built a PC that can run Crysis smoothly on the "Very High" setting. All you need is three killer nVidia SLI video cards and a power supply that can keep up.

In a statement on their Rock Band community forums, Harmonix claims that even though they have developed a patch that will allow PS3 Guitar Hero controllers to work with Rock Band, Sony is refusing to release it due to complaints from Activision.

His name? Ben. His destiny? To stand in the spotlight on-stage in a crowded arena, nailing guitar riffs, cranking his whammy bar, and dodging the panties that will undoubtedly be thrown in his direction. He just needs to get through grade school first. I'll humbly admit that I'm pretty good at this game, and can play this song pretty well on "Hard" - but 8 yr-old Ben rocking "DEAD!" on "Expert" is something you just have to see. Looks like Xbox Live has identified the issue and plans to have things running normally in a few hours. Cross your fingers and hold your breath!

I wasn't sure if he could pull it off, but Santa apparently found a Pleo in his large sack of goodies for my 10 year-old daughter on Christmas morning (she was a very good girl - that was never in question). But is Pleo worth all the hype? Here's my hands-on review.
