One of the studs over at NI likes to celebrate Christmas each year like no one else! He uses all the fun tools (NI DAQ, Compact DAQ, Python and an open source project called, Frets on Fire), to do something really unique. Using a Guitar Hero controller, he controls strands of lights around his cube, making for a one of a kind holiday lights display! Seriously - this is cool!

Well, it is over. Another year of Tokyo Game Show is in the bag - and a very nice game bag it is! Between the new games, technology and booth babes, it was one of the best game shows I have been to! I am already planning next years trip, but I guess I should give a full run down on this years show first.

This game looks like it just might perk up the PS3. I know it'd perk me up if I were a game console, I'd also have STD's by now because my sales would be through the roof. I just hope they don't screw it up. Anyway, here's a new trailer! Enjoy!

The newest version of the gruesomely fun Burnout is due out this winter (nope, nothing more definite than "winter"). Burnout: Paradise will only be available for the next generation consoles (PS3 and XBox 360) due to the technical advances they allow during game-play - things like crash deformation and crash physics.

It's the classic "jump the shark" moment. After a few successful years as a weekly reality show, a large change was put in the show this year. Tents. Seriously. Huge tents. I'm not sure who convinced The Donald that putting the losers in tents was a good idea, but whoever did it should be fired. After watching every season, I couldn't make it past the second episode this year. Sorry Donald, you're fired.
Oh, and they're releasing The Apprentice Los Angeles Game next month too.
