Stories written by Shawn F.:
If you need to know what to get the ultimate gamer who already has everything, I have the answer. It seems an avid and knowledgable gamer is selling off a 30 year collection of games and systems. Why? Who knows? Who cares?

Product placement has been around as long as, well, as long as there have been products. Often times it's more effective than conventional advertising. Afterall, who wouldn't want to drink the same beer as our big or small screen hero? I myself have talked about the product placement in video games. Well here's the opposite.
Soooo...it took an entire six days to hack the fixes out of Manhunt 2? The guys must be losing their touch.
Now, first off, we have to agree that all things being equal, everyone has their own opinion on which console is the best. Myself, I think they all have admirable attributes and there is no clear winner. However, when it comes to sales...
OK, so according to the official website, E for All was a huge success. While the attendance numbers were rather small, (18,000 over the four day period) the ticket prices probably had alot to do with that. Couple in the fact that you couldn't just do one day and you probably end up with a little customer dissatisfaction.
Nintendo announced today that the Wii Zapper interface for the hit Wii home video game system will come packed with Link's Crossbow Training. The software is based on the hugely popular Legend of Zelda series and provides a perfect demonstration of the way the Wii Zapper could be used in other games. The Wii Zapper casing houses both the motion-sensitive Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers in a single unit for precision targeting. It goes on sale Nov. 19 at an MSRP of just $19.99.

OK. So Take-Two Interactive(TTI) and Rockstar have toned down the upcoming 'Manhunt 2.' Some of the gratuitously violent kills have been blurred and/or changed. Doesn't matter, if you live in the U.K. The game is still banned there.
...of the left over XP discs? Actually, I'm heartened by the fact that Gates and Co. have opted to extend the release of Win XP for an additional 6 months.
...whatever sponsor has purchased the priviledge of advertising in that portion of the game. Nothing new there, but the advertisement might not be the same as the last time you looked. Magic?

There seems to be an awful lot of press lately about gaming addictions and how it affects those around the addicted. Most of it is told from the view of the spouse or partner of the gamer, and thus, it's negative. Like anything else in this world, moderation and common sense have to be applied.
