If you're like me, you heart yourself some video gaming cartoons. No matter how corny they are. The Zelda cartoon is about as bad as you can get, but I still love it. Aaron Greenberg, Group Product Manager for Xbox 360/Xbox Live and all around cool d00d at Microsoft, hinted yesterday that there would be some exciting news coming out about the Xbox 360 today.
Initial reports were that the announcement would be huge and would "go down in video game history." But, alas, it wasn't that huge.

Today marks quite the event. Nintendo released its 100th Virtual Console Game. It seems like only yesterday where we couldn't wait to have this many choices. Any guesses as to what the 100th game is? I'll give you a hint, it features a silent protagonist of the Hyrulian kind.

Call it what you like: classic gamer, retro-gamer, old school gamer, or Atari baby. It's all the same thing. Like many of you out there, I'm a retro-gamer. I have fond memories of playing Super Mario with the sound turned down so I wouldn't wake my parents - only to wake them up after shouting when Mario didn't jump when I pressed the friggin' button! See that? If you don't, find a way to see this image. This is the face of the new Galaga. It's, um, interesting? But that's not the only Remix you'll find in this game, oh no. There are four more in this new compilation coming to the Wii courtesy of Namco.
