OK. So Take-Two Interactive(TTI) and Rockstar have toned down the upcoming 'Manhunt 2.' Some of the gratuitously violent kills have been blurred and/or changed. Doesn't matter, if you live in the U.K. The game is still banned there.

California's Govenator was DE-NIED on Monday as a federal judge ruled his laws concerning the limiting of the sale of violent video games to be unconstitutional. The law, passed in California in 2005, was deemed nescessary by legislators who argued that violent video games could "could bring psychological harm and spark aggressive behavior in minors." Various associations proptly sued to overturn the law saying that the games were protected under First Amendment laws.

In this case, a gaming Mother wrote a heartfelt piece about her and her teenager in which games like Halo 2 has allowed her to be closer with her son. Jack Thompson probably wants to sue her too.

Dance Dance Revolution GameWhen I was in high school, the mere mention of video games during gym would bring about the wrath of coach - push-ups, etc. And now, according to the New York Times, physical education classes are now actually letting students PLAY video games!? Dang! I graduated too early.

The article mostly talks about DDR. Which obviously means they've never tried Boxing on Wii Sports.

Jack gets PWNEDLawyer turned anti-video game crusader Jack Thompson is back in the news again. His complaint against Gawker Media (parent company of the Kotaku game blog) was thrown out by Florida Federal District Judge Paul C. Huck today. Apparently, Jack didn't listen that intently in class on the day in law school where they talked about how much federal judges appreciate proper procedure. PWNED much, Jack?
