How in the world did Spore, one of the most anticipated games ever, come to be delayed indefinitely? This makes no sense.
PlayStation Magazine has confirmed information about the first planned MMO for the PS3. Titled "The Agency", it's reportedly about spies and CIA/MI-5 type operations between two opposing factions. There's not a lot of details yet, but Sony is confirming the title and that it's a James Bond-like universe. They say there will be a variety of game-play options. There isn't an official release date yet, but they expect it to be before Christmas.
According to their website, after more than five years in operation, RuneScape has surpassed the million member milestone. Jagex started RuneScape as a free Java based MMO and then switched to a pay-per-month game, at about $5/month. (via Runescape.com) City of Heroes turns three this weekend. The MMO is one of the more successful online games with lots of loyal players and entertaining and imaginative game play.

EGM is reporting that BioWare formed a new online development team to create an MMO version of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. There are serveral topics at BioWare's forums discussing the new MMO. As of yet, BioWare has not confirmed if it is KOTOR, but we're hoping. It could also be based on DragonAge.

This Monday (April 24th), GameStop and Turbine are celebrating the launch of Lord of the Rings Online : Shadows of Angmar by having a few Midnight Madness Launch events.
