I wasn't sure if he could pull it off, but Santa apparently found a Pleo in his large sack of goodies for my 10 year-old daughter on Christmas morning (she was a very good girl - that was never in question). But is Pleo worth all the hype? Here's my hands-on review.

One of the studs over at NI likes to celebrate Christmas each year like no one else! He uses all the fun tools (NI DAQ, Compact DAQ, Python and an open source project called, Frets on Fire), to do something really unique. Using a Guitar Hero controller, he controls strands of lights around his cube, making for a one of a kind holiday lights display! Seriously - this is cool!

 I originally wasn't going to post any more Halo 3 stuff, because, well, there's plenty already. But this is just too juicy to pass up! It seems some hackers tore apart the beta and uncovered some very interesting items, awards, modes, and features.

The new Halo 2 multiplayer maps have been out a little over a week now, and the glitch seekers are already cranking out videos. Here's a good one showing how to do the superbounces in Tombstone, as well as a couple other useless (but fun) glitches.

The fine folks over at The Llamma's Adventures were able to get their hands on an 360 Elite almost 2 weeks early. So, like any other normal gamerz, they played it non-stop opened it up and did a full vivisection. The Elite has an HDMI port, a 120Gig drive, nifty black case, and a few minor hardware updates.
