According to The Street, Take Two Interactive (the programmers that bring us the GTA series among other titles) is running low on funds. Because the company didn't make the original October release date, they might run out of money before they can get the game on the shelves.
Well, it might not be that bad, but they're going to have to slow that burn rate!

Product placement has been around as long as, well, as long as there have been products. Often times it's more effective than conventional advertising. Afterall, who wouldn't want to drink the same beer as our big or small screen hero? I myself have talked about the product placement in video games. Well here's the opposite.

Nintendo announced today that the Wii Zapper interface for the hit Wii home video game system will come packed with Link's Crossbow Training. The software is based on the hugely popular Legend of Zelda series and provides a perfect demonstration of the way the Wii Zapper could be used in other games. The Wii Zapper casing houses both the motion-sensitive Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers in a single unit for precision targeting. It goes on sale Nov. 19 at an MSRP of just $19.99.

 There seems to be an awful lot of press lately about gaming addictions and how it affects those around the addicted. Most of it is told from the view of the spouse or partner of the gamer, and thus, it's negative. Like anything else in this world, moderation and common sense have to be applied.

 The weekly VC updates keep coming with great games. This week features the bastard child of the Mario series and the first Genesis game I ever had. There's not a doubt in my mind, I need to download two of the three realeased this week. And Nintendo has to release some sort of harddrive ASAP.

 Today marks quite the event. Nintendo released its 100th Virtual Console Game. It seems like only yesterday where we couldn't wait to have this many choices. Any guesses as to what the 100th game is? I'll give you a hint, it features a silent protagonist of the Hyrulian kind.

October 16th is Rockstar Games' Rocktober - when they'll be releasing the Special Edition (SE) of GTA IV. That's actually the same date as the regular edition's planned release - so what's the big difference?
Well, for starters, the game will come in a "safety deposit box." That will be useful for storing other stuff you may have around your room. It will also have a CD and art book.
