E for All! Err..some! Or perhaps a few???
OK, so according to the official website, E for All was a huge success. While the attendance numbers were rather small, (18,000 over the four day period) the ticket prices probably had alot to do with that. Couple in the fact that you couldn't buy a ticket for just one day and you probably end up with a little customer dissatisfaction. Another negative draw was that Sony and Microsoft didn't even bother to show up.
On the plus side, Nintendo DID show and brought some new games to demo. Also present were several game manufacturers and some booth babes. (Dressed up, as it was. this was billed as the 'family friendly' show.) Now while this was no E3, that particular show is now only open to industry reps. E for All, on the other hand, allowed any weekend gamer wih a few bucks to spare the chance to access the show like never before. For me, I would have attended had I been in L.A. While the show was physically small, it seems it was much more personal. Besides, when else would I get the chance to be humiliated by Fatal1ty?
