I was beginning to have my doubts about Halo 3. After the Beta was done, I felt it was just new maps and weapons. It didn't leave me feeling good about the fact that I've got $130 laying in a big ol' bank somewhere at Gamestop HQ for the Legendary Edition that I have on reserve. But after this announcement, I'm feeling better. Not a lot better, just better.

Bungie announced today that Halo 3 will indeed support 2 - 4 player online co-op. Effectively killing the hundreds of rumors surrounding this debacle. Bungie will update their site tonight with more information about the announcement. Expect to kick ass with three other people online starting September 25th. (via Bungie)
