China's NES Emulation Phone

Damn China and their lack of piracy laws. Because of that, they get all the cool stuff. Even though it is morally wrong. But we've already bought various NES games a hundred times over.

This is definitely one of the coolest phones I've ever seen. Forget all those high tech functions of Smart phones, this is where it's at. Retro gaming. I used to have the Sony Ericsson W600 just because it was a gaming phone. It had the same layout this phone does, two buttons up by the ear piece and a D-pad on the other side. But this one is way sexier and a lot more functional.

The brand is Gionee, and the phones are the S20 and the V9, one white, the other black. They each come with a built in NES Emulator and 128MB of on board memory to store your ROMs. They both feature SD micro slots so you can expand that memory and TV outputs so you can play them on the big screen. In addition, if you've got video files on there you can play those too!

The difference between the two is that the S20 is a Slider phone and the V9 is stylus controlled, as it has no keypad. But the V9 also has a slightly bigger screen at 2.2" whereas the S20 has a 2 megapixel screen.

Unfortunately, these phones are only available in China and aren't even out there yet. So we don't even know how much they will go for. I'll try to find out more when it becomes available, so be sure we'll keep you updated. (via Slashphone.com)
