Yesterday, Nintento announced that their Wi-Fi Connection service, which allows DS users to play wireless against other DS users, surpassed 5 million users. Wi-Fi Connection subscribers have initiated more than 200 million sessions while playing games like Metroid Prime Hunters, Animal Crossing: Wild World, and Mario Kart DS.

Even with the recent popularity of Nintendo's Wii, Sony's PS3 and Microsoft's XBox 360, the Nintendo DS remains the best selling system of all time, with more than 470,000 units being sold in April alone. Maybe I should finally break down and buy one...
