The 2007 Wii List O' Games

MarioYou say there's a Wii shortage already?! Well Nintendo will have no such blasphemy! Check out these titles, all of which are coming this year.

But so far this is just for Japan.

  • Donkey Kong Taru Jet Race (DK Jet or DK Bongo Blast, US) - June 28, 2007
  • Wii Health Pack -- 2007
  • Disaster: Day of Crisis - 2007
  • Mario Party 8 - 2007
  • Project H.A.M.M.E.R. - 2007
  • Wii Music - 2007
  • Super Mario Galaxy - 2007
  • Super Smash Bros. Brawl - 2007
  • Battalion Wars II - 2007
  • Forever Blue - 2007
  • Mario Strikers Charged - 2007
  • Metroid Prime 3: Corruption - 2007
  • Mario and Sonic at the Olympics - 2007

Alright, here's the breakdown. Expect Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros., and Metroid all here in the US this year. That's the major hitters that we all want, and Nintendo wants nothing more than to give us what we want when we want it. *Deep breath*

Metroid, will be released here before Japan since it's being developed by Retro Studios and they are based in Texas.

SEGA has already said that Mario and Sonic at the Olympics will be out this year in both the US and Japan. So no worries there on the first ever collaboration of the two major mascots.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl, my bet is that  it'll come in July or August. Remember that SEGA and Nintendo are already working together. So don't be too surprised to hear an announcement soon that Sonic and pals will be partaking in the bruises and cuts, mostly Miles "Tails" Prower. Let's all gang up on him.

Super Mario Galaxy, I'm sure, will hit in time for the Holidays. Mario at Christmas time is sure to be a stocking stuffer all the kids and adults alike will want.

The rest will be neatly sprinkled between those three. Doesn't sound like we'll be getting any more dry spells this year. But that begs the question, how can you top all of these heavy hitters? What will you give us in 2008, Nintendo? There are still 32 other titles in development. So they're planning something. It isn't like them to dump all the good games at once.

Oooh, I'm getting giddy again.
