Somebody better write Paul Huck a cameo part as a bad-ass marine in Halo 3. Who's Paul Huck? He's a US District Judge who just pwned lunatic lawyer Jack Thompson today, that's who!

The Honorable Judge Huck threw out a case that Jack filed Wednesday against Gawker Media (parent company of Kotaku game blog) because Jack failed to follow the correct procedure for amending a complaint. Poor Jack. Seems he's been spending a little too much time chasing dragons and too little time hitting the law books.

Jack's reasoning for the mess-up? Ignorance (the first step is admitting it, Jack - only 6 more steps to go), as well as the distractions that came from the Florida Bar Association and having his address and phone number posted on a video game web site (sure wish GameRadar had done it first). Jack told the Court that he plans to re-file the complaint, and follow the rules this time around.
