With over 500,000 sales in pre-orders alone, did anyone see this not happening? 1,000,000 Pokemon games sold in less than a week. Thats one heck of an accomplishment! But alas, I too got sucked into the mania that is Pokemon...

I for one got Pokemon Diamond on launch day this past Sunday. But right now I'm forcing myself to play through Pokemon Ranger first to get the Secret Egg so I can get Manaphy and transfer him over early on in the game. If you didn't follow me on that, you obviously weren't part of the cool, exclusive "I bought one of the first 1,000,000 copies of Pokemon for the DS" Club.

Pokemon Diamond and its bretheren Pearl, feature over 100 more Pokemon to catch, new updated 3D graphics, voice chat with friends, and wi-fi trading/battling.

Don't forget that this year also marks the release of Pokemon Battle Revolution, the first Wii game where you can go online with your friends and play.

Personally, I think they need to be more creative with the new Pokemon. Remember the good ol' days with the Blue and Red versions? Yeah, some looked like actual animals, but that was a minority. The rest were extremely creative! But then agian, you really can't get better than a fire-farting monkey.
