The Apprentice Los Angeles. Play a Game and Get Fired.
It's the classic "jump the shark" moment. After a few successful years as a weekly reality show, a large change was put in the show this year. Tents. Seriously. Huge tents. I'm not sure who convinced The Donald that putting the losers in tents was a good idea, but whoever did it should be fired. After watching every season, I couldn't make it past the second episode this year. Sorry Donald, you're fired.
Oh, and they're releasing The Apprentice Los Angeles Game next month too.
Legacy Interactive and ValuSoft (a division of THQ) announced that they are releasing the game to PC's and mobile phones on May 1st, to coincide with the season's finale.
From the press release:
"The Apprentice Los Angeles showcases a twist on time and resource management games, with multiple environments requiring unique game strategies. Players learn to master skills, manage their time efficiently, make sure they have sufficient inventory, work with others and act quickly and confidently in the boardroom. Depending on how players perform in the main tasks, they may end up in the boardroom, where they must combine memory and strategy in order to avoid that infamous phrase: "You're Fired!" The opponents' performance is directly related to how well the player has performed in the rest of the game. Players "strut their stuff" in such iconic Los Angeles venues as an upscale hotel in Hollywood, a sushi bar downtown, a fancy Beverly Hills boutique and beach-front property in Santa Monica. The Apprentice Los Angeles stars the famous members of the Trump family - Donald, Ivanka and Don Jr. - as well as 12 of the most memorable contestants from the hit show."
